This is our favorite. We've invested in stocks in the past through employers and have made a decent amount but were not very in tune with how it worked and also also we’ve only been invested in stock for the company we’ve worked for so our experience was minimal. A few months ago we discovered Robin Hood and loved it right away! It's very simple and to the point,

Find what you like and buy the stock!
I dig this app. It's a super easy way to start saving & investing. All you really do is connect the debit or credit cards of your choice to your to your Acorns account and it automatically starts to save the change left of from each transaction. The transactions that get saved for you are called "Round ups" because that's exactly what it does, it rounds up the change until you reach $5 or more and then it withdrawals it from your bank account into your Acorns account. That's it ! You can also choose to make weekly, monthly or one-time deposits in addition to the "Round ups" .
